(English) The construction of OOS Walcheren (Hull number CMHI 163-2) started in China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) on the 24th May 2018.
The OOS Walcheren is the second newbuild Semi-Submersible Crane Vessel (SSCV) ordered by OOS International at China Merchants Heavy Industry to date. This vessel is identical to her sister vessel OOS Serooskerke which is currently under construction at China Merchants in Haimen and due for delivery in Mid 2019.
(English) China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd (CMHI) and DNV GL signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the classification of two multi-activity jack-up units at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston yesterday. Ordered by OOS Energy B.V., which is affiliated with Netherlands-based Overdulve Offshore Services (OOS) International, these 96 m long units will be purpose-built for the decommissioning market. Construction is scheduled to start later this year.
(English) OOS International is filled with pride to introduce a new semi-submersible accommodation vessel (SSAV), the OOS Tiradentes (previously named CR-600), destined to enter the OOS International fleet. This vessel, named after a famous independence hero in Brazil, will departure from Yantai to Brazil in February 2018 and be stationed in Brazil under contract with Petrobras.
(English) On 19 December 2017, the keel laying ceremony for the OOS Serooskerke (Hull No: 163-1) was held at China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) in Haimen. This marks another important milestone for OOS International.
(English) OOS International is pleased to confirm that on the 21st of November 2017 Holding OOS International II B.V. (OOS International) and Chinese offshore services company Jiangsu Fanzhou Shipping Co. LTD (Fanzhou) entered into
a memorandum of understanding where both companies agreed to form a strategic alliance to expand the coverage of their vessels globally.
